About the Artist: "A 1954 diary from a grandfather I never met serves as the inspiration and background in my latest series. The figures that emerge from the pages represent the memories contained in the text. Shallow focus reveals small details, while obscuring the larger story." ~ Kris Sanford

About the Artist: "My work has developed over the years from a figurative to a non-figurative approach. However, certain elements of the figure continue to persist. Symbolic content is more suggested than contrived, and emerges out of a personal warehouse of experiences. My visual vocabulary is rooted in my training in the modern traditions ranging from Cubism, to Surrealism, to Abstract Expressionism. I thrive on experimentation with media, and tools, which allow me to create a variety of sensual surfaces achieved through methods of layering." ~ Sari Khoury ( 1941-1997)

About the Artist: "After years of working with fused glass, I've been drawn to another form of art, wired all sculptures. These pieces frequently take the shape of fish made from old wooden cruttches boxes, paddles, found objects and wrapped in wire. About Art Walk Central: Art Walk Central will be held in August 2012 and is an art competition open to artists of all ages. The event is an effort to increase visibility and vitality of a program that has been active at Art Reach for 15 years. About the Artist: "I shoot nature photography digitally and produce high quality and long lastin gimages. I process all of my work, as well as mat, frame and print some of my images on canvas. I also include my images on tumbled marble, cutting boards, and note card collections." ~ Dave Dinsdale

During the holiday season, Art Reach features special selections of artwork from local Michigan artists just in time for giving the perfect gift. . The gallery space is used to showcase the annual holiday collection. The holiday collection begins in the beginning of November and stays on display until the end of the holiday season.
