Art Reach Picture Program:
Volunteers visit local elementary schools once a month, between October and May. During these sessions, students will explore two fine art reproductions each month and begin to learn and appreciate history.
Art Reach on Broadway Gift Shop & Gallery:
The gift shop is a haven for unique gifts and works of art from local artists. Volunteers serve as shop clerks and can work at their discretion - once a week or once a month!
Shifts run from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Additional volunteers are needed during the holidays, Sidewalk Sales, Mardi Gras and Art Walk Central.
Healing Arts:
Volunteers provide creative art activities, education, and experiences to persons who have special needs or who live in community care facilities, assisted living centers, senior housing complexes, and senior centers in Mid-Michigan. The program is offered in the spring.
Gallery Set-ups:
Volunteers set up and take down gallery exhibits each month. Galleries showcase local artists at Art Reach on Broadway, MidMichigan Health Park, Veterans Memorial Library, Isabella County Commission on Aging and Central Michigan Community Hospital.
Clerical Work
Regular clerical volunteers at Art Reach help with organizational work. It is an excellent opportunity to lend your skills to the communtiy.
Special Events:
Art Reach offers seasonal special events throughout the the community and are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to get involved.
